Affiliate Disclosure

Casinoay carries no affiliate links at present. Nothing on this site is a paid placement, and no operator has paid for a review, a position or the removal of criticism.

The current position

Casino affiliate programmes pay a site for players it sends. That is the ordinary business model of this industry, and it is the model this site expects to use. It is not in use yet: the casino pages here link to reviews rather than to operators, and the site earns nothing from them.

This page exists because the arrangement will change, and it is better to state the rules before there is money involved than to explain them afterwards.

What will change, and what will not

When affiliate links appear, they will be marked. Any link that earns the site a commission carries rel="sponsored", which is the standard machine-readable declaration, and the disclosure will be visible on the page itself rather than buried here.

What will not change is the scoring. The criteria and their weights are published in full on how we rate casinos and they do not have a commercial line. Specifically:

  • A position in the rankings cannot be bought. Order follows the criteria.
  • A commission agreement does not remove criticism. If an operator has a 60x wagering requirement, the review says so whether or not the operator pays us.
  • An operator without an affiliate programme is assessed by the same criteria as one with a generous programme, and can rank above it.
  • A casino that cannot produce a verifiable licence stays out of the rankings regardless of what it offers.

Why this is worth stating

The obvious objection to any affiliate-funded site is that it earns more when it recommends whoever pays best. The objection is fair, and no promise on a page disproves it. What can be offered instead is a method that is fixed and published, so that a reader can check the ranking against the stated criteria and see whether the two agree. If they ever do not, that is a defect worth writing to us about — the contact page is there for it.

What a commission does not affect

An affiliate commission is paid by the operator, not by the player. Following a marked link does not change the odds, the bonus terms or the payout you receive; the operator’s terms are the same either way.

It also does not change the underlying arithmetic. Every game on this site is built with a mathematical edge in favour of the house, and no bonus, system or link reverses it. If gambling has stopped being a choice, see responsible gambling or contact GambleAware.

Age and jurisdiction

Online gambling is restricted by age and by territory, and the rules differ between countries. Content on this site is informational; whether an operator may lawfully accept you is determined by your own jurisdiction and by that operator’s licence, not by anything written here.
