Limbo, released by Hacksaw Gaming in 2024, is the crash format reduced to its skeleton. There is no plane, no rocket and no climbing counter to watch. You set a stake, you name a target multiplier anywhere from 1.05x to 10,000x, and the round resolves immediately: the game draws a number, and if it reaches or passes your target you are paid at exactly that multiple. If it does not, the stake is gone.

The interface is a dark screen with two fields. That is the whole game, and the honesty of it is the point — every other game in this format decorates the same decision.

The most honest game in this catalogue, and possibly the most useful one to try once even if it is not to your taste. It removes every layer of decoration and leaves you looking directly at the trade between frequency and size — which is the only trade any of these games offer.
