Sweet Bonanza Super Scatter came out in 2025 and is the only entry in the family that changes a rule rather than a number. The 6×5 grid, the pay-anywhere symbols and the tumbles are all unchanged. What is new is a super scatter symbol that pays on its own, in fixed amounts, at the moment the bonus is triggered — independently of anything the free spins round then produces.
Those amounts are the whole design, and they are unusually specific for a slot: one super scatter pays 100x the stake, two pay 500x, three pay 5,000x, and four pay 50,000x — which is also the game’s maximum win and the highest cap in the Sweet Bonanza line by a wide margin.
The published return is 96.51%, identical to the 2019 original. Three games, three ceilings — roughly 21,100x, 25,000x and 50,000x — and one return figure across all of them. By this point the pattern is the most useful thing to understand about the whole family.
The Super Scatter Mechanic
In the original, scatters did one job: enough of them started the bonus. Here they do two. Ordinary scatters still trigger free spins — four to six of them award between 3x and 100x and start a round of 10 spins. But super scatters landing at the trigger pay their own fixed prize on top, and the tiers escalate sharply.
| Super scatters at trigger | Instant prize |
| 1 | 100x stake |
| 2 | 500x stake |
| 3 | 5,000x stake |
| 4 | 50,000x stake (maximum win) |
Read that table carefully, because it explains the shape of the game better than any volatility rating. The step from three to four super scatters multiplies the prize tenfold, and the step from two to three multiplies it by ten as well. Almost the entire top of the distribution is concentrated in an event with four specific symbols on screen at one specific moment.
Free Spins and Multipliers
The round starts with 10 free spins and three or more scatters during it add five more. Multiplier symbols of up to 100x accumulate on the grid as the round goes, and their combined value applies to the total at the end. As everywhere in this family, the values add rather than multiply.
Ante Bet and Bonus Buy
The ante bet works as it does across the studio’s catalogue: +25% stake, double scatter frequency, published return unchanged. It buys a shorter wait, not better odds. The bonus buy applies the same logic in one payment, and the same caution applies — the median bonus round returns less than it costs to enter.
What the Numbers Say
50,000x on a 0.20 stake is 10,000. That figure is real, arithmetically reachable and, for planning purposes, close to meaningless: it requires four super scatters at once, and the probability attached to that is precisely what allows the published return to stay at 96.51% while the cap doubles the previous record in the series.
What changes measurably is the texture of the game. Fixed instant prizes make the trigger moment itself decisive, so results cluster differently than in the original: more rounds that pay something immediately, and a far longer tail. For a fixed bankroll this means fewer sessions that drift and more that end sharply one way or the other.
The base game is unchanged and, as ever in this family, is a waiting room. Choose the stake from how many spins you can afford to wait, not from the number in the headline.
Mobile Play and Demo
Browser-based like the rest of the family, no app, portrait layout intact. The demo earns its place here more than usual: the tiered super scatter prizes are far easier to understand after seeing two or three triggers than after reading a paytable, and the difference from the original’s bonus is obvious immediately.
Summary
The most interesting Sweet Bonanza since the first one, because it adds a mechanic instead of another zero. Whether it suits you depends on what you want from the trigger: a fixed prize the moment the bonus lands, or a longer round that builds. What it is not — and this is the third time the same sentence applies in this family — is a more generous game. Same 96.51%, redistributed once more.
